6:00pm - 8:00pm
Meetings are still being held virtually.
The security committee will be hosting a Q&A session about LPR technology with the community.

Members are expected to bring up a vote on whether or not to increase the board size from 3 to 5
TL;DR
- There was a long discussion about the installation of LPR cameras
- Some residents were concerned about the cost
- Some residents were concerned about the invasion/loss of privacy
- 'Opting out' means identifying the saved footage associated with your vehicle as a 'resident'
- While the focus of the data collection is license plates, the cameras still record people, bikers, and dogs
- Open questions to be answered later included
- While the neighborhood would own the data, it has not been determined who from the community would manage/have access to it
- Who would decide what was allowed or appropriate to be shared and when?
- Knowing about biases in 'smart technology' and the fact that there are already ties to law enforcement from the system how can we be sure that we are not contributing to a larger problem?
- A survey will go out to the community to get a better gauge for how thing should proceed
- The motion to increase the board from 3 to 5 passed but the seats will not be voted on until the 2021 Annual Meeting
